PROGRESSION CONTROL EVENT

Top Progress Lock

Top Progress Lock is a temporary progression-control system designed to keep server competition closer during selected periods. When the event starts, the server checks the current Top 1 player and saves that player's progression as the temporary maximum progression value for the entire server.

How Top Progress Lock Works

Top 1 Defines the Progress Limit

At the exact moment the event activates, the server checks the progression of the character currently ranked #1. That value becomes the temporary progression ceiling for the server.

Everyone Else Can Catch Up

Players below the locked progression value can continue progressing normally until they reach the saved limit. Once the limit is reached, further progression is temporarily stopped.

PROGRESSION TYPE

Supported Progress Lock Types

Level

The current Level of the Top 1 character can become the temporary maximum Level available to all players.

Reset

The current Reset count of the Top 1 character can become the temporary Reset ceiling for the server.

Grand Reset

The event can also use the current Grand Reset progression of the server leader as the temporary progression ceiling.

EXAMPLE

Example: Top 1 Has 75 Resets

Locked Value Becomes 75 Resets

Suppose Top Progress Lock activates while the current server leader has 75 Resets. The server stores this progression automatically and temporarily sets 75 Resets as the maximum progression available during the event.

What Happens to Players

Below the Locked Value

Players who are still below the temporary progression limit can continue leveling and progressing until they reach the saved Top 1 value.

Progress Allowed

At the Locked Value

When a character reaches the progression ceiling, progression is temporarily paused at that value. No progress is removed and no existing achievement is lost.

Global EXP Bonus

Optional Server-Wide EXP Boost

During Top Progress Lock, the administration can also enable a separate Global EXP Bonus. This allows players below the progression ceiling to approach the locked value more quickly.

The EXP bonus configured for Top Progress Lock is independent from the Catch-Up EXP System. Catch-Up EXP dynamically assists individual players based on their distance from the leader, while Top Progress Lock places a temporary progression ceiling on the entire server.

IMPORTANT

What Players Should Know

No Progress Is Removed

Top Progress Lock never removes progress already earned. It only prevents characters from progressing beyond the temporary maximum value.

The Lock Is Temporary

The progression restriction exists only during the configured event period. When the event ends, the limit disappears automatically.

Top 1 Determines the Ceiling

The lock value can be based directly on the real progression of the server's current Top 1 player at the moment the event begins.

Everyone Can Reach the Same Limit

The original Top 1 player does not reserve the locked progression value. Every player can catch up and reach the same ceiling during the event.

SERVER BALANCE

Why Top Progress Lock Exists

Closer Rankings

Leading players temporarily stop increasing the progression gap, giving the ranking time to become more competitive.

Catch-Up Opportunity

Players below the leaders receive time to reduce the difference without losing their existing progression.

No Leader Penalty

The system does not remove progress from leading players. It simply pauses further progression at the current ceiling.

MUELEON PROGRESSION CONTROL

Catch the Leader. Reach the Limit. Prepare for the Next Race.

Top Progress Lock temporarily uses the progression of the current Top 1 player as the maximum progression point for the server. Players below that value can continue moving forward, while characters who reach the ceiling wait until the event expires and normal progression resumes.
